What happens if I run out of data credits?

New uploads pause until you add more credits, but you can still view all your existing insights and health scores. For paid accounts, your data stays safe indefinitely. Free accounts that go 90 days without any upload activity are closed and data is removed — we'll send you a heads-up before that happens so you have time to purchase credits or export your data.

What counts as “data”?

Everything you upload: customer records, SOPs, knowledge articles, contracts, emails, call notes — any file your team works with. Data is measured by file size at the time of upload. Each upload counts toward your balance, including refreshes of records you've uploaded before. Why? Because fresher data means sharper predictions — when you refresh 100 records weekly, Gran Minerva can spot changes and catch risks sooner. Most businesses find the Starter Pack (20 GB) covers a full year of regular uploads and refreshes.

Does refreshing my data use more credits?

Yes — each upload counts as new data, even if you're refreshing records you've uploaded before. That's by design. Gran Minerva compares your latest data against previous uploads to detect changes, spot emerging risks, and keep your health scores current. Regular refreshes are what make predictions accurate and alerts timely. Think of it like topping off your phone data — a small cost for staying connected to what matters.
